THE BRIGHT SIDE
New Year’s celebrations will be happening at all the wonderful resorts, restaurants, and drinking establishments this coming week.
New Year’s falls on a Thursday this year, which means some end up with a very long weekend. The Geneva Lake area has many great places to celebrate New Year’s Eve in style. The Grand Geneva Resort has some fabulous restaurants and lounges for you to indulge in and ring in the new year. Pier 290 in Williams Bay has an exclusive menu just for the New York New Year’s Eve celebration. Lake Lawn Resort on Delevan Lake is another one of the great resorts in the area that really celebrates the new year in style with an adult-only party and a family party.
Don’t forget about the unique experience of the Historic Baker House for the Time Travelers Ball and Maxwell Mansion’s Casino Royale for celebrating the new year.
The Treasury will be having a formal New Year’s Eve celebration from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. with a big band and a balloon drop. Tickets are $50 if purchased before December 28th and $75 after that. Of course, all the fun drinking establishments will be full of people celebrating. There will be plenty of cocktails going around, no matter where you go, so plan and have a designated driver. Some will play it safe and ring in the new year with friends and family at home; however, you celebrate, have fun, and be safe.
