Lake Lawn Resort is renting igloos that overlook Delavan Lake for a fee of $75 for 90 minutes for up to 6 people and has a special menu for food and drinks that can be purchased. Mar’s on Lake Como is offering igloo rentals for 90 minutes and requires a $100 food and drink minimum. Grand Geneva is offering igloo rentals for 90 minutes also with a $100 drink and food minimum. Streets of Lake Geneva will be holding its annual Cocoa Crawl to compliment Winterfest on Friday, February 5th, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The event is free and takes place throughout downtown Lake Geneva. Participants will be able to stroll, shop, enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and sweet treats from participating businesses. Registration is required to participate, and receive a map of participating businesses which will also indicate what they are serving. After registration, about a week before the event, participants will get an email with the map, voting materials and other fun information about the event. On February 5th you will kick off the start so everyone entered can visit as many of the businesses as possible, and then make sure to stop at the VISITORS center to cast a vote and get a goody bag. Registration may be done online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-lake-geneva-cocoa-crawl-registration.
