THE BRIGHT SIDE
On July 4th, Flight For Life was called to Big Foot Beach.
A man was out on a boat with friends and dove headfirst off the boat into the shallow water. He injured his neck doing this, and 911 was called. He was taken to Froedtert in critical condition with a C6 fracture. He was taken into surgery Saturday morning fixing the broken bones in his neck and replacing them with rods and screws. He’s in recovery and making progress little by little. As of Sunday afternoon, he was able to move his arms and legs. Unfortunately, with no insurance, the bills will be astronomical, and a fundraiser will be planned at Big Foot State Park soon.
