THE BRIGHT SIDE

The students attending Lake Geneva Schools are officially off for summer break.
With summer break here many families are struggling to provide meals the kids usually receive while going to the schools. Lake Geneva Schools: Badger High School district and Joint #1 district, understand the added stress on families and offer healthy meals for free during the summer. All students, not just Lake Geneva students 18 and younger, are eligible, including disabled adults aged 19 through 21 who are participating in educational programs.

Breakfast and lunch meals can be picked up through the summer at these two local schools. Pick up for meals will be at Badger High School at 220 East South Street from June 10th through August 9th from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Pick up at Badger will be at door 14 in the common area. Pick-up at Central Denison, located at 900 Wisconsin Street, will be from June 17th to June 28th and July 8th to July 19th from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

When picking up at Central Denison please call 262-348-4000 ext. 4006 to be let into door 10. For more information, contact Jaclyn Sanders the Lake Geneva Schools Food Service Coordinator at; Jaclyn.sanders@badger.k12.wi.us, call 262-348-1000 ext. 1015, or text ‘food’ to 304-304 for meals near you
