Buona Beef is ready to open.
Tuesday, June 25th the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place. This has been a long time coming. Ever since the thriving Red Geranium closed its doors and the building went on the market nothing has made a go of it long-term. Buona Beef and The Original Rainbow Cone are expected to be great and become a popular spot for many locals. Buona and Rainbow Cone are already a favorite for many of the visitors from Chicago who come to Lake Geneva already know and love it.
Buona Beef and Rainbow Cone originated in Chicago Illinois and have several different locations in that area. Both companies started as small family-owned restaurants and have continued to grow. Buona Beef is well known and loved for its Italian beef sandwiches but also offers many other menu items. The Original Rainbow Cone is famous for its five-flavor rainbow cone. The location of Buona Beef and Rainbow Cone at 393 Edwards Boulevard is a busy area already and, with its opening, this stretch of Edwards is expected to be even busier especially since there is a drive-thru window included in the new build. Many council members discussed this issue before approving this project and almost didn’t, as safety was a bigger concern.
