THE BRIGHT SIDE

Trust us, you don’t need it.
This short article is about SiriusXM, the cable version of radio.   You pay monthly and for the equipment and then there are no ads, or not many ads…until there will be.  Like cable, you need about six or seven channels and that’s probably it.  Even those channels offer pretty bad material.  Bad music is cheaper for Sirius to acquire than good stuff, just like television.  The couple of hundred stations on Sirius mostly have talk, sports or junk music on them.  Listen to the 60s, the 70s, etc., etc…and you’ll get to hear music you’ve never heard before because those productions never went anywhere when they were first released.

Talk shows are mostly expressive dummies presenting dumb stuff expressively with the sports channels not delivering sports but people talking about sports.  Going from one station to another is also a bother and places like ‘coffeehouse’ and so many more are collections that have about as much quality as the by-the-decade offerings.  Save your money.  The ads on regular radio are better than the music on Sirius.  Sirius is delivered by satellite so you can get it anywhere, supposedly, except in your garage or under bridges, etc.  Bad music anywhere…what a deal.
