THE BRIGHT SIDE

Christmas Holiday events are in abundance this weekend.
Friday night, December 2nd, in Flat Iron Park, the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place. The event will start at 5 p.m., and include lots of holiday cheer and, of course, a visit from Santa who will make a dramatic arrival in one of Lake Geneva’s firetrucks.

On Saturday morning, December 3rd, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Badger Highschool Breakfast with Santa will take place. Tickets are sold at the door and are $5 for ages three to seventeen, and $7 for eighteen and older. Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, fruit, beverages, crafts for the kids, and a visit from Santa. ]

As soon as Santa is done with breakfast, he will be heading downtown to The Market of Lake Geneva (right near that wonderful shop called the Thrift Inn on Main Street, and then over to Topsy Turvy Brewery on Geneva Street for more visits and photos.

The day will conclude with Santa joining the 47th Annual Electric Christmas Parade in downtown Lake Geneva. The parade starts at 5 p.m., and the theme this year is The Twelve Days of Christmas. The holiday season is here, and this first weekend is full of holiday fun you don’t want to miss.
