Little Gems

How can a great little company be divided right down the middle?
Try Mike’s Auto Repair, located in downtown Lake Geneva on Broad Street.  What a great little auto repair, tire, racing…and you name it company.  They do great work, don’t cheat you, and are quick in getting your car back to you.  But then they bought an old filling station, located south of the main location. So, what do you think happened there?  Zombies, it would seem.  The manager of that ‘other half of the business is threatening, taciturn, silent, and menacing.  The work they do at that location?  Who knows, because, if you go in there, do you want to encounter the results of such attitude applied?  The people who work under that character must have skins made of elephant hide.  If your car needs repair, and you haven’t decided about where to take it, then have it towed (by Dels, the down-home, homespun and so wonderful local towing company) to Mike’s main facility.  You won’t be sorry.  Mike himself, the owner (a great guy), needs to get down south a block or two and see what he’s potentially raised up out of the slime.

Spring is here, the weather is wonderful, and the Lake Shore  Path is a great way to enjoy it all. Geneva Lake is one of the few lakes that offer a path along the shore. Early settlers of the lake area declared that the twenty feet leading to the shoreline be preserved as a public domain. The property owners are aware of this before they purchase and are responsible for maintaining the path along their property. The beautiful lake view, impressive mansions, professionally manicured landscaping, and the unique beauty of nature are enjoyed along the path. The Lake Shore Path offers just over twenty-two miles of outdoor fun. Accessibility to the path can be found at many locations, making the path available for a short walk or an all-day hike through and along the lake communities. Bring walking shoes, a bottle of water, and let the adventure begin.
