Little Gems

The Lake Geneva City Administrator has done nothing.
Is that part of his job description?  The cell phone companies, all of which have their towers turned off in Lake Geneva, can be punished for this kind of unfriendly unserviceable behavior. Yes, there is no limit set into the federal law governing the building of these cell phone towers across the land, that keeps local communities from taxing them.  If the cell phone companies won’t turn on their towers (the fact that they are all turned off is a direct result of discovery and the reporting by the staff of the Geneva Shore Report) then the City of Lake Geneva should start taxing them for not providing the service that everyone thought, they were going to get years ago

Flat Iron Park Gets Its Tree

There is a popular post going around Facebook, and it’s a good one.
Everyone is encouraged to make Christmas 2020 a special one, however unique and challenging it may be to do so. On Christmas eve at 6 p.m., many are making a point to go outside and ring a bell for two minutes. This is a wonderful way to spread the Christmas spirit, unite the divided, and help Santa guide his sleigh! This has been a tough year, to say the least, and what a beautiful way it will be to give kids and adults around the world, and inside our small community, a small ring of hope, togetherness, and magic.

So, go outside at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and ring some bells.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
