The Abominable Snow Race is set for January 30th, 2021.
This extreme winter challenge is back, with a few changes, making it a brand new first-time Abominable Trail Race. The new race will combine a very technical trail race with high-intensity interval training. This event is going to be so much fun to be a part of, or just watch. The competitors are from all over the country, and some are serious extreme athletes while others are just in it for fun. The competition will challenge the athletes, not only physically, but mentally. With the hundreds of participants and their loyal family and friends, the event is expecting to bring over five hundred people into Lake Geneva for overnight stays. This is great news for the local tourism and the hospitality industry (heads in beds mean everything right now when it comes to the economic recovery from the ravages of the virus). The event will be held at Lake Geneva Canopy Tours on County Road H.
Of course, the Abominable Snow Race would not be complete without a visit from the famous Yeti that travels the country from race to race. Get ready for some great winter fun and unleash the Yeti in you!
