THE WORLD OF TRUMP

A citizen in New York was questioned on the street about Donald Trump illegally renaming Lake Ontario, the smallest and easternmost lake in the Great Lakes chain, and what she thought of the renaming of the great body of water. She was unhappy, but the most germane part of the conversation came about when the reporter asked her what she thought Trump would rename next. She laughed and said that the answer was easy: “Trumpworld.”

Forget about that ancient and now shop-worn name of Earth.  The man next to her then chimed in and told the reporter about Greenland changing its name from Greenland to ‘Trumpless.’  The humor and ridicule are most properly deserved as the dementia worn down president continues to move from one ridiculous Executive Order to the next, and from one ridiculous action to the next.  Going to economic war with Canada was as poorly thought out as going to physical war with Iran.  America will continue to suffer at an increasing rate while ‘Trumpworld’ follows slowly in pursuit of the same effects over time.

Flowing right into the terrible flood, akin to the one that ravaged down the valley in the Himalayan Mountains, is the U.S. Supreme Court passing judgment on the continuance of building the ridiculous White House ballroom.  Even the Chief Justice turned against that decision, but to no avail.  The Chief Justice said that the decision of the other four right-wing justices was patently illegal, which it is.  The Constitution gives only Congress the right to change or develop the ‘people’s land,’ as it is put. But that’s not all; the Speaker of the House is all set to attempt to run through a final bill before all the Congresspeople and Senators run home for summer vacation again.  That bill is to attempt to pass a constitutional law that does not allow there to be any increase in the number of Supreme Court judges or to pack the court, as it is termed.  But it takes 75% of Congress and the Senate to pass such a resolution and the likelihood of that is between extremely slim and none with this set of hardened political veterans.

Meanwhile, in case the nation gets bored, the Secretary of Defense is firing women and blacks left and right in the military, trying to require testosterone shots for men who might not yet resemble gorillas and, meanwhile, maybe run for President in 2028.  That last thing might not help him in his current friendship with the vice-president, who also has aspirations in that regard, and with the President’s failing health, now noticeable to almost everyone listening or watching, or even reading his junk on X at four in the morning, Hegseth might consider his own exit plan, which is not likely to be running for anything as running from just about everything.  He may never get past the fishermen he ordered killed, some wounded and in the water, when he decided to strike Venezuelan boars running and sailing off the coast there.

Meanwhile, the ICE, appropriately named Eloy-type of humans, continue to do what they are ordered to do by the President.  Last week they deported four children under the age of 13 to countries where they do not speak the local language, without any money and unaccompanied to be dumped at that country’s airport.  What do you suppose happened to them?  No reporters are willing to go abroad and commit courageous acts of reporting, and no U.S. officials are willing to follow up on what happens to those deported.  It is hoped that God is keeping track, and as he adds lost souls to the rolls of heaven, that the God of the Old Testament has a place in his heart for these agents.  Forget about the President; he is fortunate enough to have dementia and therefore likely feels very little, but those agents.  The phrase ‘vomited from the mouth of God’ comes to mind.  How can men and women do this to other men and women?  Go and ask the Jews.  As those who were executed by Pol Pot, Hitler, Mao, and now the USA.  Always in secret until later, much later.

Should the elections in the mid-term change things and then the elections of 2028, what will America be like when it cannot be glued to the television set or the tools of the Internet to absorb the next bit of awful, foul news?  What if good news starts coming in?  Will television have to resort to having real television shows again?  Ones that might have some good news for the characters portrayed and therefore instill a feeling of warmth and kindness in watchers’ and readers’ mental condition?  Being an American today is like being a tourist sitting on a wonderful beach and watching the waves come breaking in…except the waves these days are formed up and delivered of black tar and other obnoxious substances.  What will we do when that sort of scene is no longer delivered to us as daily, hourly, and by-the-minute presentations masked as the ‘news ‘?
