Grand Opening! Emagine Theatre.
(The old Showboat Theatre) is scheduled to open August 28th with a grand night planned. The show that night will benefit three great local charities; Kisses for Keegan, Lakeland Animal Shelter, and Love Inc. The newly renovated theatre is more than looking great.
The interior is to die for. The lobby and concession area are very well done and there’s even a piano in the bar area. The eight theatre rooms all have only luxury seating, with buttery smooth material for the coverings. The very large over-stuffed and fully reclining seats will make anyone feel like they are in your own living room. It will take some real attentive concentration to keep full attention on the movies instead of the amenities.
