Sweater weather is almost here, and with that comes all kinds of October events, including spooky Halloween fun.
Lake Geneva Business Improvement District is getting ready for its annual Oktoberfest weekend. Oktoberfest is scheduled for October 10th and 11th. The BID is looking for help with the event. If you are interested in being a part of this fall festival,

October 9th, Downtown Lake Geneva will be hosting its first-ever Beer Crawl.

Pearce’s Farm Stand, located on Walworth Road in Walworth, has fall fun every day. The farm stand grounds are filled with hay bales, corn stalks, photo ops, and of course pumpkins. Pearce’s is a favorite stop for so many, but fall is when it really shows its vibrant colors. The corn maze is an event in itself and very popular. Make sure to stop in to pick up some pumpkins, mums, produce, and soak in the season before it closes for the season. Of course, with fall and Halloween, there needs to be something spooky.
Starting in October, Dan Patch Stables has it covered. This year, the event will still be happening minus the haunted barn. There is also a new location for the haunted hayride. The new location will be directly behind Emagine Theater at 2567 Highway 120. There will be trolley services available from Grand Geneva and Timber Ridge. The spooky fun starts in October.
