SURPRISING STUFF
Daniel Thomas Derrick Sr., a beloved pillar of the Lake Geneva Community and a devoted family man, passed May 24, 2026.
All are welcome to attend the visitation and services to honor Dan Derrick, a man who gave and served selflessly to the Lake Geneva Community for 54 years. Visitation to honor Deputy Chief Derrick is this Friday, June 19th, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva. There will be a fire and emergency walk-through at 7 p.m. Mass will be on Saturday, June 20th, at 11 a.m. at St Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Burial with fire service honors will be at Oak Hill Cemetery following the service. Those who wish to pay tribute are invited to line the funeral procession route traveling along Curtis Street to Townline Road to Wells Street to Baker Street to Wrigley Drive to Center Street to Marshall Street and ending at Oak Hill Cemetery on Madison Street.

Deputy chief Daniel Derrick passed May 24th after 54 years of serving the community . He was a Pilar in the community and a devoted family man and friend. Dan will be missed dearly.
