The Cocoa Crawl has become a popular event during WinterFest.
The local downtown businesses take part in the event and are placed on the Cocoa Crawl Map that participants use to navigate their way through town in search of the best treats and cocoa in town. The Business Improvement District did a great job, as always. More than eighteen hundred participants preregistered, and most showed up, even with the frigid cold weather. The businesses that participated offered hot cocoa and treats that were judged by the patrons on best cocoa and best treat.
This year’s winners for best hot cocoa went to Kilwin’s in First place, Avant Cycle Café in Second place, and Thumbs Up in Third place. Best treat winners went to Geneva Gifts in First place, Thrift-In took second place, and Edie Boutique came in Third. The runners-up went to The Baker House, Constant Cravings, and Antique Unique Vintage Shop. Of course, all the businesses did a great job, and congratulations to all the winners.
