Surprising Stuff

The GSR will be providing daily weather reports.
Yes, every morning when you get up and start moving around you will be able to go to the GSR Facebook site and at nine-thirty a.m. (giving a half hour before the shops all open at 10:00 a.m.) GSR reporters will be detailing how the weather is right now down at the base of the Riviera Pier. They’ll cover things like visibility, temperature, rain, snow, sleet and more, including a video display and report on the condition of downtown roads. The service is free, like every other facet and part of the Geneva Shore Report. Comments from the public will be accepted and answered, particularly if they are a bit testy and entertaining.

The Women of Walworth.
Women all over the world are making a point of building each other up and empowering one another to do great things. Angelus Home and Garden, The Cashmere Compass, The Curiosity Shop, Forget Me Not Flower Market, and the Twill Cottage are all owned by women right here in Walworth. They’ve been referred to as the “Women of Walworth,” and they are okay with that title. These women are great supporters of each other. You can walk into any of these great shops and find a print out of each of their shops with a description and location of each.
The Women of Walworth are thriving and loving being small business owners. They feel a good portion of the success they have is due to the support of their fellow women. If you drive through Walworth you will find these shops on Kenosha Street, Main Street, and South 5th Street. The Women of Walworth are grateful for your support and for helping make their dreams come true.
