Surprising Stuff

Lowes, Home Depot, Kohl’s and Fleet Farm.
What do all of these big box stores have in common?  Many things but the one the GSR wanted to look into is called Veteran’s discounts.  How big is the discount and what are the real tangible benefits to producing a veteran’s identity card of almost any kind?
Fleet Farm does not give a military discount and neither does Walmart.
Home Depot and Lowes both give discounts of ten-percent, Home Depot’s percentage goes all way up to five hundred dollars while Lowes ends at fifty dollars of discount.
Kohl’s offers a Military Monday discount of fifteen percent on in-store purchases only.  It pays to ask though, and some stores give military discounts, but they want the buyer to go through some verification service first.
Target gives a ten percent discount on a single purchase on select days leading up to Veterans Day.
Be prepared to submit some proof of record to establish that you are veteran, almost anywhere.
