The Bright Side

Amid the coronavirus panic, many events have been canceled and places have been closed in hopes to stop the spread of the disease.
All schools are closed, with only teachers reporting in to facilitate online learning. Churches are starting to offer online services instead of in person. Nursing homes are no longer accepting visitors and sometimes that’s all the patients have to look forward to, but they are also the most at risk and their health is the top priority. Libraries are closed and are offering curbside pickup. The Walworth County Courthouse is closed and will resume Monday, April 6th. Local events have been canceled including Maplefest and the Delavan Train Show. Hopefully, the coronavirus gets stopped quickly and life can continue and get back to normal.

Inspired Coffee on Main Street.
This great and long-awaited place is getting ready to open its doors and welcome the Lake Geneva community to be a part of its unique mission and to enjoy the coffee shop. The space has been remodeled to fit the needs of the Inspired Coffee staff and patrons. Marketing and advertising has been going on, supplies are in place, hiring is done, a volunteer open house was planned for March 25th, and the official opening is now scheduled for April.  This is all tentative as it may have to be postponed until the Coronavirus crisis subsides.
